On Wednesday we got our finals back. After we had looked at them we worked quitely in our journals while other people finished up their finals.
Today we watched a movie on magnetism. We learned by rubbing a magnet on a piece of metal. When this happens the atoms line up to create a temporary magnet.
In LA today we read a essay on the Three Gorges Dam. If you click on the hyperlink it will bring you to the essay we read. When you get back see if you can answer these qustions that we had to answer in class.

In Math we got our tests back. We spent most of the class correcting the problems we got wrong and playing Fraction Action, Fraction Friction. My parter and I had just figured out how to play when the bell rang.

Today in class we watched a movie on northern India.
The first city it visited was Varanasi. Varanasi according to Hindu beliefs is Shiva’s holy city. The Ganges river is also located in Varanasi. Their are over 100 stairs leading to the Ganges.
Then it visited Agra, India the town whee the Taj Mahal is located. The Taj Mahal was made by a Shah whose wife died after giving birth to her 14th child.It took 20,00 people and 22 years for the Taj Mahal to be completed.
