I’ve always thought Morocco is a cool name for a country so I did a little research. Morocco’s full Arabic name is Al-Mamlaka al-Maghribiya meaning The Western Kindom. It’s former capital Murakush means Land of heat. Other facts about the modern day Morocco  include,

• Its capital is Rabat
• Its largest city is Casablanca
• It is a constitutional monarchy
• Its population in 2005 was 33,241,259

You know how on the back of most books it has short reviews by people.Well heres mine for A Wrinkle In Time by: Madeleine L’engle.

 Among the Barons (Shadow Children #4) is by Margert Peterson Haddix. Heres my summery of this great book.               

 Lukes’ life at Hendricks School is simple, at least for him. He’s a third child, living in a world where third children are outlawed. He has taken on the name Lee Grant, who’s father was one of the most powerful men in the country before he died. Hendricks school is a school that house’s third children secretly. Every thing is fine until his “brother” Smits Grant comes to school. Smits demands that he has his own personal room and gourmet food delivered to his room every meal.  Smits looks strange for a kid to begin with, but with a huge bodyguard named Oscar who always carries a sledgehammer around.   The other kids can’t help but talk behind his back.  After an incident, Smits is called home.  So is Luke.  Everything’s confusing at the Grant’s house.  Luke’s friends from school show up, and the bodyguard tells Luke secrets about Lee.  What will happen?  Read for yourself!                                                              

My favorite band is the Dixie Chicks. They have been my favorite band since I was 3. Here are some facts about them.

• They where kicked off country radio for saying they were embarrassed that the president was from Texas just like them!
• Their concerts in Texas where canceled because only a few tickets were bought!
• They sing a rock/country song (called Not Ready to Make Nice) and a lullaby!

  I saw their concert in August!

 If I could choose to go anywhere in the world I would choose Spain.I would choose Spain because it seems so fun and alive.In all the pictures I have seen Spain looks beautiful and none seems to have a care in the world.So I guess to me, Spain looks like paradse.
